Textile Strong 

These water-repellent and heavy-duty coatings effectively protect many types of textiles from water, dirt and stains. The coatings are transparent and breathable and have a long service life.

The coating ensures an easy-to-maintain surface without affecting the textile appearance, breathability, color or feel. Stains can be easily removed from the treated textile. The protective coating stands up well to both dry cleaning and wet washing. The service life of the protective coating is approximately 12 to 20 washes at 30°C depending on the textile product.

Preparation:

The textile must be thoroughly cleaned and all deep stains removed prior to treatment. servFaces Textile Cleaner is recommended for this important initial step.

After the cleaning process the textile surface must be completely dry before applying the sealing product.

Application:

The surface must be completely wetted. Gently massage the product into the textile and then allow to dry.

A slight darkening of the textile may be evident during the process but will subside with drying.

Textile materials can be treated using either a dipping or spraying process. Thus, an optimum result is possible with minimum product usage. The amount of product needed depends on the absorption properties of the textile material treated.

Drying:
After air drying, the product will be completely effective. Drying time can be reduced through the use of heat if the textile can withstand it. Thermal drying can increase the product’s effectiveness.

Aftercare:

Over time the textile surface may require touch ups. The product can be used to refresh the textile surface, so long as it is not soiled.

Usage: 80 to 150 ml / m² (depending on the textile type)

Weatherproof: Within 1 to 3 hours at 20°C

Complete curing: After approximately 24 hours, depending on the textile and ambient temperature

Application Temperature: +10°C to +25°C
Storage and Shelf Life: at least 12 months at room temperature sealed in its original container.
Storage Temperature: +10°C to +25°C
Always protect the product from direct sunlight and frost.
